Yoga

Sita started her yoga journey at 16 years old as an activity that she could do with her mother and sister. Sita holds a degree in Sport Science, which has given her an understanding of human physiology, biomechanics, and the importance of maintaining a balanced body. This combined with her gymastics experience, NASM personal trainer certification and 15 years as a professional performer, allows her to approach yoga from a unique perspective—emphasising both physical strength and mindful movement. For Sita yoga has been a practice that she could enjoy without feeling judged or in competition with anyone. A principle she continues to pursue and share in her teaching. 

Sita has been teaching for 8 years. Whilst travelling around the world on tour with Cirque du Soleil she had the opportunity to teach at a variety of studios, health centres, and to the cast and crew of Cirque Du Soleil.

Sita is experienced in creating a class that is for ALL levels. Offering a holistic approach to yoga, including mindful movement, strength, flexibility, and breath work, combined with her unique perspective as a performing artist. She gives clear cues and guidance to move in and out of postures, allowing participants to try variations and gain knowledge of alignment. 

She believes that yoga is a journey that helps clear the mental clutter, bringing a sense of calm and focus to both body and mind.
